On June 13 at the Luis A. Ferré Fine Arts Center in San Juan, Fabiola Valentín competed as a representative of Camuy in Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2019. Madison Anderson won the contest, and she placed second.
A year later, she competed as Miss Grand International 2020 for Puerto Rico at SHOW DC in Bangkok, Thailand, on March 27, 2021, against 62 other contestants, including Mariana Valera of Argentina. Fabiola and Valera were both ranked among the Top 10.
